The 3M™ DBI-SALA® 5 lb. (2.3 kg) Tool Retractor features a lightweight, compact housing and a high-strength Dyneema® retractor line. This design helps minimize tool tangling, as well as minimizing job site tripping hazards and entanglements, while reducing weight on workers' belts and harnesses.

Point 2 of the 3 Point Tool Drop Prevention Model, Tool Retractors are connectors that prevent a dropped tool from becoming a drop hazard. These Tool Retractors are connected to the attachment point on the tool & then to a secure anchor point. The Tool Retractors must have the proper weight capacity of the tool being secured.
